That brand new baby stage really is a fleeting moment, and if there were one photo shoot I would urge you not to miss, it is this one.

Our newborn shoots capture the most precious images of your new baby… Those sleepy poses, them all wrapped up, cuddled up with their big brothers and sisters, their very first family photos.  This is one very special photo shoot… Let’s plan you something amazing.

When should I book my newborn session? 

Most people book their newborn shoot soon after their 12 week scan.  If baby has already arrived however, pop me a message, as I will always try to get you in when I can.  I take a £29 deposit to secure your slot.  This gets knocked off your final payment.  Newborn bookings are flexible, as I understand babies can sometimes arrive early or late.  There is no need to worry about this.  I only take a certain number of newborn bookings per month to allow for this flexibility.

When is the best time to have a newborn shoot?

Newborn sessions are perfect for babies up to 21 days old.  This is when babies naturally settle into those beautiful sleepy poses.  If baby is a little older, don’t worry, we can still create those stunning newborn images, it just may be that we get a few more awake shots.  Newborn sessions take place in my fully equipped studio; a safe, warm and comfortable environment for you and your baby.

How long does a newborn session take?

My full sessions take around 3 hours.  Sessions are totally baby-led, meaning we follow baby’s lead and pose them how they are happiest and most content.  I only book one newborn session per day, meaning sessions are relaxed and totally focused on you and your baby.  There is never any rush during a newborn session.  Parents get to sit back and relax whilst I work my magic, getting you the most perfect photos.

My newborn mini sessions take around an hour.  During the mini sessions, babies are kept wrapped for their shots- this is how we can capture you the most gorgeous images but in a shorter amount of time.

What packages do you offer and how much do they cost?

I offer both full and mini sessions so there is a shoot to suit everyone’s budget.  Our mini sessions are a snippet of a full shoot.  They are shorter in time, with a handful of beautiful images and are great if you are on a tighter budget but still want those stunning, high quality photos.  

Our full sessions offer a complete collection of images.  They include the sleepy, posed shots, the wrapped images, the prop shots and the beautiful family and sibling shots too. The full sessions include all of your digital images, so there is no need to buy expensive packages after the session, and there is no pressure to pick only your 10 favourite shots, because with our full sessions you get them all.
