Outdoor

Our outdoor shoots are just breathtakingly beautiful.  

They capture real moments… holding hands, cuddles, running through fields, the sunshine on your faces and the mud beneath your feet.  

My outdoor images are rich in colour, warm and earthy.  They almost glow on your walls.

Outdoor sessions are perfect for those who prefer a more natural image.  They are also perfect for that toddler age- where little ones want to be free and enjoy exploring outdoors.

Where will the session take place?

I have certain locations which I know are perfect for different times of the year.  I have spent lots of time finding these places… spots with bluebells; spots with fields full of rustic, overgrown grass; spots with low rivers to splash in or blossom trees to bring prettiness to your photos. 

Locations will always be local to Stoke on Trent and will be planned before the shoot.

I always prefer to shoot in a more rustic, less commercialised location.  I will always choose an overgrown field over some prim and proper gardens.  The more natural and rustic the better!

What if it rains?

A slight drizzle is fine, but if the weather isn’t great we will go to our plan B.  Nobody wants soggy hair and cold feet!  A plan B will be arranged prior to the session- this is usually either moving our outdoor session to another date, or moving to a studio session on the same day as our original planned shoot.  Final plans with regards to the weather will be double confirmed on the day of the shoot. 

How much does an outdoor shoot cost and how long do they last?

There are both mini and full sessions available for our outdoor shoots, so something to suit everyone’s budget.  Our mini sessions last around 30 minutes and are a snippet of our full sessions.  They provide a handful of beautiful images.  Our full sessions last around an hour and offer a complete collection of images with lots of variety.  These sessions include family and sibling shots and also include all of your digital images.
